Distortion campaigns against Syria exposed
Misinformation and distortion campaigns against Syria by many TV Satellite Channels have been unleashed in different ways and means. Such campaigns, however, are never to weaken the Syrians nor to shake their strong convictions or morale.
Al-Jazeera Channel, for example, has been screening a photo for a man killed in Yemen incidents as a victim killed in Syria, a fire ablaze in Tunisia to be, as Al-Jazeera claims, in Daraa, Syria.
Other exposed media fabrications by ‘Al-Jazeera’ are related to so-called ‘eye witnesses’ who give contradictory information like, for example, ‘eye witness ‘Abo Ibrahim’ who said that he was in Daraa standing in a high place as to connect with Jordanian mobile phone network, narrating dramatically the inability to move from a place to another, while after a while, spoke of his movement from house to house.
Other imaginary ‘Don Quixote-windmills-eyewitnesses’ spoke of their inability to even look at the streets of Daraa in fear of snipers, while at the same time spoke of moving to carry the wounded and killed to hospitals in the city!
‘Al-Arabia’ Channel broadcast false information about , for example, mass resignations from the Baa’th Arab Socialist Party (BASP) in Banias, while some of the names so-called resigned from BASP phoned and denied the news, not to mention tens of cases of Photoshop edited pictures and imaginary names and incidents!
Rafiq Litf, member of Arab Journalists Union in America, spoke of many ‘dark rooms’ in the US paltalk website for fabricating lies and provocations against Syria.
Litf, in press statements to Syrian TV Satel lite Channel, disclosed that some of these dark rooms’ members, some of them are females to arouse more emotions, intervene and give interviews from abroad whether in the USA or Europe, claiming to be talking from Syria and exactly from the location where they would say that dramatic and catastrophic incidents take place.
Some incidents take place first if Paltalk rooms before being broadcast as dramatic breaking news about a massacre or catastrophe in Syria by some TV Satellite Channels, added Litf.
