Hundreds continue to return to the town of Jisr al-Shughour and its countryside after being forced by armed terrorist groups to flee their homes and head to Turkish camps, with 206 people returning within the past two days.
According to a member of a popular committee, people returning from Turkish camps to their homes in Jisr al-Shughour and surrounding villages has exceeded 8,000 people so far.
The returning families said that they were waiting impatiently to return to their homes and resume their lives, affirming that they had succumbed to the rumors and lies propagated by some satellite channels regarding the situation in the city, while the reality proved different particularly after the army restored order to the area.
Imam of al-Hasania village sheikh Yehea Lelo said that families continue to return to the area, particularly after the efforts exerted by popular committees and providing transportation by Idleb Governorate.
Lelo added that life returned to normal in Jisr al-Shughour and nearby villages, with people moving freely among villages and resuming their business as usual.
